FIND A CLEANER IN LONDON

Choose InstaClean for a cleaner as soon as possible, or schedule a clean up to 60 days ahead. A scheduled clean is shown to every ID-checked cleaner who is free at that time, and the first to accept takes it. An InstaClean asks nearby online cleaners one at a time, starting with your favourites and the closest. Once a cleaner accepts, you see their name, photo and rating, and the app shows how long until they arrive.

A scheduled clean is £25 an hour and an InstaClean £32 an hour. You book from 3 to 8 hours, in whole hours. Your cleaner brings their own products and equipment, included in the price. You see the full price before you request. You can pay for a single clean with Apple Pay without saving a card: that card is used only for that clean, including any time you add and a tip, and is removed from your account 14 days after the clean.

In London for now, at addresses within about 34 km of central London. If your address is further out, the app tells you before you book and asks where you would like us next. Sign up is open to anyone in London.

Bookings open in London on Saturday 21 November 2026, at 6pm. Until then you can join the list on this page, or download the app, sign up and join the waiting list there, and we tell you as soon as you can book. From then, cleans run every day from 6am to 9pm. From 9pm to 6am cleaners are offline and InstaClean is closed, for everyone’s safety, but you can still schedule a clean for the day. A scheduled clean needs at least 2 hours 15 minutes of notice within opening hours, and an InstaClean must finish by 9pm.

Every cleaner verifies their identity with Stripe before they can accept a job: a photo of their passport, driving licence or ID card and a selfie that has to match it. We also check that every cleaner has the right to work in the UK. Customers rate every clean, and cleaners rate their customers too.

When a cleaner accepts an InstaClean, we place a hold for the full price on your card. For a scheduled clean, the hold is placed 48 hours before it starts. You are charged only when the clean is complete, for the time your cleaner was there, rounded up to the next 15 minutes, with a one hour minimum and never more than you booked.

Yes. In the app, cancelling is free while we are still looking for a cleaner, and a scheduled clean is free to cancel up to 24 hours before it starts. An InstaClean cannot be cancelled in the app once a cleaner has taken it, and nor can a scheduled clean in its last 24 hours: message support from the Support tab and the team will help. The help centre and the terms explain emergency cancels and your 14 day right to cancel.
